We collect only the minimum information required to deliver and improve OrganizeEmail’s core functionality.

1.1 Email Data (via Gmail API)

• Email metadata such as sender, recipient, subject line, and timestamp
• Email content may be temporarily accessed only when required for categorization or summarization
• We do not store email bodies or attachments on our servers

1.2 Usage & Diagnostic Data

Anonymous and aggregated information such as feature usage, app settings, and crash logs may be collected solely to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Email organization, categorization, and prioritization
• AI-assisted summaries and insights (where enabled)
• Customer support and issue resolution
• Improving app stability and performance

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data to train AI models.

3. OAuth Scope Transparency

OrganizeEmail uses Google OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and requests the following Gmail API scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly

• This scope provides read-only access to Gmail messages and metadata
• The App cannot send, delete, modify, move, or label emails
• No permanent changes are made to the user’s Gmail account

Users may revoke OrganizeEmail’s access at any time through their Google Account security settings.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Email data is processed securely and not stored outside the user’s device or Google’s infrastructure
• No email content is permanently stored on our servers
• Application logs are retained only as long as necessary for debugging and security
• OAuth tokens are encrypted and revoked upon account deletion

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, except:

• Trusted service providers operating under strict confidentiality agreements
• When required by law, regulation, or legal process
• In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

6. Data Security

• Industry-standard encryption in transit
• Hardened infrastructure and isolated production environments
• Continuous vulnerability monitoring

While we take strong security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

If a data security incident affecting personal information occurs, we will notify affected users without undue delay and regulators within 72 hours where required.

7. AI Data Handling

• Requests are encrypted in transit
• No plaintext email content is written to disk
• No AI training is performed on user data
• Zero-retention processing is used where supported

8. Third-Party Sub-processors

OrganizeEmail does not use third-party data processors at this time. If this changes, users will be notified through an updated Privacy Policy.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential cookies and consent-based analytics. No advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, including under GDPR and similar laws, you may have the right to:
